NEIGHBOURS
Neighbors and residents of the Dance Valley festival grounds can find all the information they need here. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, please contact us.
SAFETY AND TRAFFIC MEASURES
The cycling and walking tunnel (Tacitustunneltje), which runs under the A9-A22 motorway and connects the Oostlaan in Velserbroek with the Oosterbroekerweg in the Spaarnwoude recreation area, will be closed during the three events.
As in previous years, the Amsterdamseweg will remain open and the homes, businesses and houseboats in Spaarnwoude will be accessible.
Traffic will be managed by BVN. This company has a lot of experience with this type of work. In order to limit the parking pressure in Velserbroek as much as possible, Velsen will deploy municipal supervisors there.
IDENTIFICATION REQUIREMENT FOR RESIDENTS AND COMPANIES
For the events, various measures have been taken in the area of identification. At various access points where people enter Spaarnwoude by car, identification may be requested. This only applies to people who live, work or visit companies in the area.
USE OF (MOPED)BICYCLE SHED MANDATORY
Two large bicycle and moped sheds will be set up this year, and use of these facilities will be mandatory.
SOUND TESTS
More information coming soon. Sound tests may cause some inconvenience.
NUISANCE
The municipality realizes that the events can cause some inconvenience for neighbors and residents. It asks for understanding. The festivals are good advertising for Velsen, while they are unforgettable events for the thousands of visitors.
