Maarten de Jong
Fresh in 2012, following on from tracks ‘Tetra/Rush’ and the collaboration with his good friend Artento Divini called ‘Ram-B65/Hashtag’, Maarten has just released another massive smash in the form of his edgy ‘Raw/Messier’ on Vandit Records. Since becoming a Vandit resident he has numerous new releases on route including ‘Lancelot/Volt’ and in 2013 his remix for ‘Paul Van Dyk feat Austin Leeds – Symmetries’ plus more collaboration bonbs with the Vandit head honcho who named Maarten de Jong as his breakthrough DJ/producer in the DJ MAG TOP 100 2012. After closing for Paul Van Dyk during the Evolution World Tour at Escape in Amsterdam in early 2012, Maarten was asked back to do the same again in the even bigger Melkweg venue on the opening night of ADE which is Europes version of the Miami Winter Music Conference. Many industry experts are tipping Maarten to become the main breakthrough artist in the more techy sides of trance at the back-end of 2012 and beyond. With releases like this, his global fan base growing in healthy fashion and the sheer energy he brings to whatever space he DJs, 2013 is going to take Maarten de Jong to the next level.
