Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Nicky Romero and Paul van Dyk at Dance Valley 2020
Longest running Dutch dance festival drops spectacular international line-up
Dance Valley is celebrating its 26th edition this summer and has presented Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike as their main attraction. The Belgian DJ duo was once again voted to number 1 DJ-act of the world by DJ Mag and will be joined on Saturday August 8th at the recreational area Spaarwoude by Nicky Romero, Paul van Dyk, Chuckie, Dubfire and Headhunterz and many more.
Dance Valley continues the trend which they successfully put into action over the past few years: big international artists, national legends and a lot of musical variety in terms of genres. The festival consists of eight stages at which many genres of electronic dance music will be played. At the mainstage there’ll be mainly house and edm, but techno, trance, hiphop and hardstyle will also be blowing through the speakers at the green valley at Velsen-Zuid. Besides the diverse international headliners, national heroes like Jonna Fraser, Kris Kross Amsterdam, La Fuente, Rod and Wildstylez are a part of the line-up too.
Spokesperson Wytze Dijk explains the musical philosophy of the festival: ‘We’ve had a few really big headliners at our mainstage during the past editions, like Steve Aoki in 2018 and David Guetta last year. In the past we’ve had Armin van Buuren, Martin Garrix and Avicii at the biggest stage in the Valley. We felt like it was very important to have a major headlining act this year as well. Therefore, we’re very proud and pleased with the signing of ‘the #1 DJ’s of the world’: Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike. In addition, we consider it key that we offer our visitors have as many different musical genres as possible. That fits our history, but it’s definitely a part of our identity of the present day as well. In that way, visitors will always be able to find a stage that gets them excited and they might be surprised by an artist which they never heard before, at a stage that wasn’t necessarily their favorite stage at our festival.’
