GENERAL
Dance Valley Festival is the world’s longest-running daytime dance festival, held annually since 1995 (except during global pandemics). It takes place in the recreational area Spaarnwoude, Velsen-Zuid, the Netherlands.
The upcoming edition of Dance Valley will take place on Saturday, 9th August 2025.
Dance Valley is hosted at Spaarnwoude recreational area, Velsen-Zuid, the Netherlands. Address: Oostbroekerweg 1, Velsen-Zuid, The Netherlands. Directions: From the A9 highway, follow the signs to the festival.
The minimum age requirement for Dance Valley festival attendees is 18 years. All guests must carry valid identification and present it upon request.
The doors open at noon, and the final show runs until 11PM.
Ticket holders can enter until 11:00 PM. Guestlist entries must arrive by 6:00 PM. We recommend arriving early to ensure a smooth entry and avoid disappointment.

At the festival, payments are made using tokens, which can be purchased at designated token desks using a debit/credit card or cash.
Please note that tokens are non-refundable.
To help reduce waste, we use a recycle token system. Upon entry, you’ll receive a free recycle token. When you buy your first drink, you’ll exchange your token. For every subsequent drink, simply hand in your empty cup. If you don’t return an empty cup, you’ll need to pay an extra token, so be sure to recycle your cups!
You’re welcome to bring your (digital) camera with you. Be sure to snap plenty of photos and share them with us on Instagram and Facebook using #DanceValley. However, professional photography and video equipment are not allowed on site.
If you have a special diet or allergy, you may bring your own food and drinks with a doctor’s permit. Otherwise, bringing your own food or drinks to Dance Valley is not allowed. We offer a variety of food and drinks at the festival, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options.
Dance Valley enforces a Zero Tolerance drugs policy. Both hard and soft drugs are strictly prohibited. Anyone found with drugs will be denied entry or removed from the festival grounds.
Yes, we offer a variety of vegetarian and vegan options.
Yes, disabled individuals can access the festival grounds. However, please note that the hilly terrain may not be fully wheelchair accessible, so some areas of the festival may be difficult to reach. Disabled toilets are available on-site.
Due to our mobility plan, which prioritizes traffic flow and overall safety, we are unable to facilitate micro-level transportation, and you cannot be dropped off directly at the festival entrance. You may, however, be dropped off and picked up at the kiss & ride zone. Additionally, you have the option to purchase a parking ticket for parking near the festival.
Perfume: Not allowed.
Sunscreen: Allowed, but only in non-spray form. Free sunscreen pumps are available on-site. Makeup: Allowed, as long as it’s in the original packaging.
Deodorant: Only roll-on is allowed (no spray cans).
Vape refill liquid: Not allowed.
TRAVEL
Oosterbroekerweg 1, 1981 LR, Velsen-Zuid
The first shuttle bus departs at 11:00 AM from Rhoneweg 1, near Amsterdam Sloterdijk train station. Buses run throughout the event. Travel time: Approx. 25–30 minutes. Ticket price: €16,75 (advance purchase only). For the return trip: Allow extra time to collect your belongings from lockers and reach the shuttle stop. The last shuttle bus departs at 12:30 AM. Plan your journey home according to train and bus schedules.

Use the Kiss & Ride zone for drop-offs and pickups. Follow the signs for easy access. Arrive early to avoid crowds.

Parking Prices:
Regular parking pass: €22,75 in advance.
Free parking is available near the main entrance.
TICKETS
Tickets are available via our official ticket partner and website.
To prevent fraud and unauthorized reselling, your ticket(s) will be sent to you shortly before the festival. Until then, they are securely stored in our ticketing system. If needed, tickets can be transferred to another name or resold within our system.
You can update your e-mail address on the website of our ticket provider.
Yes, but download your ticket in advance as on-site internet may be unstable.
Check the order confirmation you received via email after your purchase. Go to ‘my order’ and you’ll be able to change the name on your ticket.

HOUSE RULES
- Racist, fascist, and/or nationalistic behavior is strictly prohibited.
- Political statements, symbols, or gestures of any kind are not allowed.
- Wearing clothing or displaying insignias associated with football clubs or other associations is not permitted.
- Drugs (both hard and soft) are strictly prohibited. Dance Valley enforces a Zero Tolerance Policy. If you are caught using, dealing, or in possession of drugs, you will be denied access or escorted off the festival grounds immediately.
- Access to the festival grounds may be revoked at any time by the organization if deemed necessary. The organization reserves the right to modify its policies without prior notice.
- The minimum age for attendance is 18 years. Visitors must carry valid proof of identity and display it upon request.
- Food and drinks from outside.
- Glass bottles, cans, or other containers.
- Weapons, sharp objects, or dangerous items.
- Pets or animals (except certified service animals).
- Drugs, stimulants, or similar substances.
The festival will be recorded for TV and other media purposes. By entering the festival, you consent to being filmed or photographed. These recordings may be broadcast, shared, or used for promotional purposes without compensation.
All visitors must follow the instructions of security and crew at all times. Security personnel are authorized to conduct searches if there is reasonable suspicion of a prohibited offense. Refusal to comply with a search will result in denial of access to the festival grounds.
Please use the provided waste bins and follow recycling guidelines to help maintain a clean environment. Reuse your cups and participate in the recycle token system to reduce waste.
Distributing flyers, posters, or engaging in any commercial activities is strictly prohibited on the festival grounds, surrounding streets, or parking areas without prior authorization.
Attendees are responsible for their own well-being. If you feel unwell, please visit the first aid station for assistance. * Sunscreen is allowed (non-spray) and will be available on-site.
Dance Valley reserves the right to deny entry to anyone who violates these rules or displays inappropriate behavior. Enjoy responsibly—respect fellow attendees and festival staff to ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience.
